Most of us would know someone who is caring for an elderly relative or a partner – well -according to the Australian Bureau of Statistics Survey in 2018 there were 2.65 million people in Australia providing informal unpaid care to their families and loved ones – that’s 1 in 10. We speak with the CEO of Carers Victoria Judith Abbott to learn more about how the carers in our community can be supported.
