This week, we discovered a great new NT campground: Katherine Farm Stay. Located a short drive from the heart of town, this family-run, family-friendly stay is a great choice when exploring Katherine and the stunning Nitmiluk National Park, home to Katherine Gorge. With a menagerie of farm and native animals, powered and unpowered sites, a sparkling resort-style pool, and plenty of space for the kids to run free, this was a highlight of our Explorers Way road trip. Then we are off for a few days camping at one of our favourite places in the NT, the spectacular Leliyn Edith Falls. Is this the Top End’s best waterfall? There is something truly magical about this epic environment—one of those places you just have to experience for yourself!
