The Great Outback Treasure Hunt begins! We’re leaving the coast behind and pointing the LC300 west as we head back into one of our absolute favourite parts of Australia – Outback Queensland. And this time, we’ve got family along for the ride! Over the next few episodes, we’ll be hunting for treasure in all its forms – fossicking for what we can find beneath the ground, discovering some of the incredible natural gems of the Outback, and visiting some of our favourite little towns along the way. In this episode, we leave Airlie Beach and begin the long haul west, overnighting behind the iconic Prairie Hotel. A must for your road trip list when you are travelling out this way! Then it’s on to Winton – one of our favourite Outback Queensland towns and the starting point for plenty more adventures to come.
