We’re kicking off from Gemtree in the Northern Territory, and making our way towards the Queensland border. After a short 100km on some of the best bitumen we’ve ever driven, it’s time to air down the tyres and hit the dirt. The Plenty Highway is notorious for it’s rough and rocky conditions and we’ve been warned by many to take extra care, as this is about as remote as it gets when travelling Outback Australia. We camp overnight at Jervois Station and Tobermorey Station, and you won’t believe just how many flat tyres we encounter on this stretch of the Plenty Highway.
If you love hitting the dirt and touring the off road trails of Australia, this episode is for you!
