Stacey Stokes has lived experience as a trans person who has been subject to the incarceration and probations systems, with informed positions on the extent to which trans persons are subject to rules that ignore their needs.

Having turned her life around, Stacey actively engages with community to assist others to do the same.

Stacey tells us how she became, and what it means, to be part of the creative community, including ‘About Time’ – the national newspaper for Australian prisons and detention facilities.
