Nick Lawson joins Logan Timmins to explain the benefits they experienced after increasing active engagement with community, and the opportunities this then presented. These included not only being a writer for, but also a co-editor of, the recently launched book – In Flux: Trans and Gender-Diverse Reflections and Imaginings (December 2022), a community anthology by trans and gender-diverse (TGD) writers, that grew out of Melbourne-based writing workshops and a national call for submissions.
