We’re not usually ones to lean into the drama… But when there’s three dramas in just as many days in remote Outback Queensland, even we have to admit, it’s been a week!
After Jasper’s emergency health scare, and the busted water pipe on the caravan, we hit the road from Stonehenge towards the little fishing town of Isisford. After towing 100km on a remote off-road track, we stop to air up the tyres and discover the rear window on our brand new LC300 has been completely smashed by a rock!
After a lot of cursing and a quick gaff tape patch up job, we continue on to Blackall for a much welcomed rest after a long and testing day. Time to call our insurance and make a plan for the rest of our trip.
