Blending Jones’ searing vocals with the kind of washed out, psychedelia-steeped sonic palette that pulls the heat from your fingertips, Jones’ tempestuous brand of bliss is uniquely her own.
Melbourne born and bred, she cut her teeth on the local scene before recording and touring internationally with Clairy Browne & The Bangin’ Rackettes. It was here she met her lead guitarist and songwriting partner Jules Pascoe (Husky, Jazz Party, Jaala). After the group disbanded in 2015, Jones and Pascoe delved deep into a rich back catalogue of songwriting, and alongside bassist, Joel Loukes (Riley Catherall) and drummer, Selwyn Cozens (Buttered Loaf) conjured new work teeming with themes of heartbreak, loss and redemption.
