Starlady identifies as a Trans Woman, Transfeminine, Queer, who has been a passionate activist from a young age.
First Nations communities where she lived and worked, and a close family, gave her the space to grow, to mature, to explore gender identity, all seeing her as she was, acknowledging and celebrating her, with none of the boxes that western culture tried to place her in.
Starlady is Program Manager at the Zoe Belle Gender Collective, who are committed to disrupting the violence experienced by Trans Woman, especially when dating cis-gendered men, providing on-line resources aimed at addressing men’s violence against trans women.
