Quests by Community – Creative Writing – Trans, Gender Diverse, Non-Binary
Alex Lee is a writer and organiser of regular creative workshops for The Shed, and for the A Thousand Threads writing collective.
From: as a child, having to use means to hide the full meaning of what they had written from the eyes of others, the reaction to the first picture drawn at school, struggling to understand and research thoughts and feelings, for which neither had the words, and the experiencing of voice dysphoria.
To: writing with purpose, the power of words, strength, ownership, giving permission, accepting themselves, all through writing, with the voice once hated, now more powerful than thought possible.
Hosted by Ricki Spencer, a Trans Sociologist.
