This week we find ourselves on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, just a half hour drive from the popular tourist town of Noosa. Here, we met with the team from the University of the Sunshine Coast, Australia Detection Dogs, including Romane and her beautiful dogs Maya and Bear, and we learn about the important work they do to help monitor and improve koala habitat through the state. We also speak with Josey from ifaw and Meghan from the Queensland Koala Crusaders. |
