Mourning in the Morning, held at Elder Park/Tarntanya Wama, included a new segment entitled ‘Respectfully Yours’ with warm words of solidarity for First Nations peoples from community allies, a cleansing smoking ceremony by Major Moogy Sumner and the Tal-Kin Jeri dancers, alongside other Elders and young people who shared inspiring words.
Mourning in the Morning was presented by the Australia Day Council of South Australia and recorded live by Channel 44 Adelaide.
