Shaggy’s story of leaving his homeland, South Sudan, and heading up north to facing unfortunate circumstances that led him to becoming the man of the house at a very young age is truly inspiring and captivating.

Shaggy’s courage and determination to overcome the challenges he faced, such as navigating a new environment and assuming adult responsibilities at a young age, are undoubtedly remarkable

Since his arrival in Australia, Shaggy has remained dedicated to supporting his family and community.

Shaggy has developed a love for Aussie Rules and is now actively involved in running multicultural programs to engage young people from diverse backgrounds.

Shaggy is not only inspiring but also a joy to be around! His lighthearted nature and sense of humour are undoubtedly infectious, and it’s no surprise that he is beloved by many.
