This episode we set up camp at our favourite off grid campground in the Outback, on the outskirts of Barcaldine, Queensland. Set on a 40,000 acre private grazing property, this Hipcamp is one you’ll definitely want to stay at when travelling through inland Queensland.
We cook up baked potatoes on the campfire, run a bath in the stock feed tub and soak in the healing waters of the Great Artesian Basin, and Paul sets up the projector on the back of the caravan to watch the Maroons bring it home in the State of Origin football. Plus we show you how we clean our solar panels on the roof of the Zone RV, using our trust Adventure Pumps 12v pump.
Then we are off to Charleville, to another fantastic off grid campsite. Our epic road trip from South East Queensland to the incredible Red Centre – Uluru and Kata Tjuta – the beating heart of Central Australia, is underway!
We’ll be driving approximately 7500km over a 28 day period to complete this mini lap of Australia – a road trip we believe every Aussie should experience in their lifetime!
