Filmmaking
Ever wanted to make your own film? Jess explores youth filmmaking in South Australia. First, she visits Yankalilla Youth Theatre to see how a film is produced, and appears as an extra in their latest project, a Western-style film made by and for young people in the Fleurieu region.
Then, she heads to the Australian Film, Diversity and Inclusion Foundation (AFDIF) Festival to speak with young emerging filmmakers on the red carpet. The episode highlights how filmmaking can offer a platform for creative expression, collaboration, and storytelling, and how young people in South Australia can get involved!
