Fenn Wilson
Fenn Wilson is one of this country’s most exciting new young performers.
With his stunning vocals and mesmerising stage presence, he shows a depth of talent which belies his young age, prompting both Queenscliff Music Festival and Port Fairy Festival to announce him as their emerging artist of the year in 2018/19. Think George Ezra with Nick Cave’s early songbook.
With a baritone that is resonant and expressive well beyond his years, Fenn’s songwriting forms a snapshot of his recent past; brushes with heartache, depression, world-weariness and uncertainty, and often lightened with compassionate observation, love and redemption. His debut album, ‘Ghost Heroin’ also featuring younger brother George (Bones & Jones, Pollyman), saw AIR making it their feature album of the week.

It feels like Pollyman are way beyond their 20-something years. The Melbourne four-piece soaks in apalpable admiration for late 70’s rock and power-pop hooks, while establishing the group as one of realability and exciting talent. Having played in bands like The Tiny Giants and Bones & Jones since early high school, front-manGeorge Carroll Wilson is…
We’re back in The Rhythm Section with Sosemina Fuamoli and the fabulous Sex on Toast. Currently residing in Melbourne, Australia, Sex on Toast are an irrepressibly charming 10 man organisation who specialise in raw early 80’s funk, hard-edged new jack swing, blazing improvisation and heartfelt blue-eyed soul. Their choreographed stage act, complex arrangements, performative larrikinism…
