Welcome to Season 6! The ocean to the outback! For the remainder of 2022 we will be exploring every corner of Queensland, and we can’t wait to share it with you. We’ll be zigging and zagging, revisiting our favourite destinations and discovering new places, campgrounds and experiences.
But before we get the caravan wheels turning, we are discovering some of the gems of South East Queensland, the island getaways that make a perfect day trip or awesome overnighter within easy reach of Brisbane, the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast.
First up, we’re enjoying the secluded natural paradise of South Stradbroke Island for a fantastic camping trip at Tipplers campground. Plus, we are spoiled to a catch and cook experience with head chef of Tipplers café, Bec Gava, who is cooking up a delicious Thai style Spanish mackerel on the BBQ.
