Emily Seebohm

After being told that she needed to ‘lose weight’ and that she was ‘too old’, four-time Olympian, Emily Jane Seebohm silenced the critics brilliantly by winning bronze and gold at Tokyo 2020.
It was a pleasure to interview Emily on The Road to Tokyo and discuss the feeling she experienced when she won bronze in the 200 metres backstroke and gold in the 4 x 100 metres women medley relay.
We also discussed Emily’s journey into becoming a professional swimmer, how Tokyo was an Olympics like no other, what it was like competing with no crowds and for a bit of fun I asked Emily, the three famous people she’d like to have dinner with.
