Alpha Pro Wrestling returns to Sunbury and the Sunbury Memorial Hall to present the first half of their Sunbury Smackdown: CROSSROADS event from May.
– The opening contest of the first part of Sunbury Smackdown: CROSSROADS will see the Alpha States & Territories Championship be defended in a Fatal 4 Way as the champion, The Gutter God Killian Bates, looks to successfully defend the gold against The Main Character Will Walker, The Undeniable, Desirable One Rocco Reid & The Slickest Cat In The Land Malykai Slic
– The Standard Bearer Broderick Valentine, still believing that the current Alpha Pro Wrestling Heavyweight Champion The Juggernaut Jay Hunter was behind the attack that cost him a whole calendar year of his career, comes face-to-face with The Mercenary Slade Mercer in a heated confrontation that lead to them facing off to determine the No.1 Contender to the Alpha Heavyweight Championship later on that night (match will air as part of second part of SSD: Crossroads next month)
– The second contest of the first part of Sunbury Smackdown: Crossroads sees the thrown-together tag team of The Mint Condition John Stop Action & the former Alpha Melbourne Openweight Champion The Unpredictable Jaw-Jacker Jayson Krash team up to take on the Alpha Tag Team Champions The Crowe Bros (The Best Around, Mr. Awesome Adam & his baby brother The Trendsetter Emilio Crowe) in non-title tag team action
– The third contest of the first part of Sunbury Smackdown: Crossroads was initially meant to see The Lady Of Love Natasha Valentine and The Certified Bad Bitch Miss Fortune go one-on-one, but both were deemed medically unfit to compete in the match and management had called in It’s Ya Gurl Eleaine Hope to make her Alpha night show debut against the returning Galactic Glamazon Nova Nicholls in the places of Valentine & Fortune
– The main event of the first part of Sunbury Smackdown: Crossroads sees two veterans of the Australian Independent Professional Wrestling scene go at it as The Player Jake Lindo, fresh off his win over Mike Kaos at All Or Nothing in April, goes one-on-one with the 25 year veteran in The Hardcore Icon Maddog, who’s looking to get back on his winning ways after unsuccessfully challenging Jay Hunter for the Alpha Heavyweight Championship at All Or Nothing in April.
