Cookin’ On 3 Burners

Back in The Rhythm and Section with Sosefina Fuamoli and Cookin’ on 3 Burners. Since exploding onto the local circuit in 2002 Jake Mason, Ivan Khatchoyan, and more recently, Dan West, CO3B .have become one of Australia’s most loved and respected acts joining the dots between Deep Funk, Raw Soul, Organ Jazz & Boogaloo. Centered around Hammond organ along with infectiously funky guitar and drums, the trio have played most Australian festivals and toured the country over. They are signed to esteemed U.K label Freestyle Records and have rocked the B-Boy and B-Girl championships, had songs featured on a string of hit TV shows and toured with the likes of Alice Russell, Sharon Jones & the Dap Kings, Quantic, Fat Freddie’s Drop and more. In 2009, the band hit number 1 on the UK iTunes RnB charts with the track This Girl (featuring Kylie Auldist) and in 2016, a reworking of the song in collaboration with French electronic producer Kungs saw the band achieve massive chart success world-wide, reaching #1 in over 10 countries and was the most listened to dance track of 2016 on Shazam in the world. Always looking to collaborate they have joined forces with the likes of Kaiit, Thando, Tex Perkins, Harry Angus James, Josh Teskey and Stella Angelico who is featured in this recording. They are currently working on their 9th album.
