Alexander Teh is a former President of the Australian GLBTIQ Multicultural Council (AGMC). During his tenure, he worked closely with federal and state governments to deliver a range of high impact initiatives that added meaningful value to multicultural and faith LGBTIQ+ communities.
These initiatives included contributions to the LGBTIQ+ 10 Year Health Strategy, LGBTIQ+ Youth Justice Framework and Strategy, Australian Multicultural Framework, LGBTIQ+ Multicultural Mental Health Frameworks and Service Approaches, and Palliative Care Victoria’s Multicultural and Faith Services Framework and Rainbow Credentials.
Alexander continues to collaborate with LGBTIQ+ grassroots organisations, focusing on creating safe, inclusive spaces for LGBTIQA+ people from multicultural and multifaith backgrounds to connect, network, and celebrate diversity, and partners with organisations to support communities by providing accessible, practical resources that empower individuals and organisations.
