Jessica Leonard is passionate about community, television, film, podcasting, well – all things media; encourages others to look at the many options now available, for those who wish to, to engage in the power of storytelling.
Having been actively involved in the management of social media for multiple organisations across many years, Jessica provides insights into considerations that may have been lost sight of, while suggesting that some of the issues around usage of social media are not new, and supporting those who could significantly benefit from engaging with others on-line, to be provided with the learnings and skills to do so, safely.
Jessica’s passion for filmmaking and commitment to amplifying underrepresented voices is evident as she speaks of a current project, presenting it as an example of a story which should be told, that could otherwise go unheard, and examples of personal experience of focused training given to specific groups of the wider community, where the results highlight the beneficial power of engagement in storytelling, their stories, their way.
