Originally from New Zealand, Ro Bright is a screen, gig, and theatre writer producer.
Having studied and worked in New York, recent achievements include programming the successful 2026 Melbourne Queer Film Festival, wrote “Daffodils’ a critically acclaimed New Zealand musical play that is also now a film, wrote the widely acclaimed narrative-driven cabaret “Sugar”, and is the CEO of the Melbourne Trans & Gender Diverse Film Festival (TILDE).
