Paul Horwell is the CEO of the Victorian Pride Centre. Originally from Devon in the South of England, Paul moved to London at eighteen and built an executive career in accounting and finance, holding leadership roles across the UK and Australia.
After moving to Melbourne, Paul has been a volunteer at JOY 94.9 since 2016, both on and off the microphone supporting the storytelling of our diverse communities, was on the JOY Board for two years 2022-24 then JOY Media President and Board Chair, before leaving to take up the position as CEO of the Victorian Pride Centre.
With a passion for equality, inclusion and fairness, Paul loves the Victorian Pride Centre’s ethos of being a welcoming, safe, accessible, exciting, inspirational space, and community centre.
