The Adelaide Fringe Welcome Ceremony—Kumangka Palti Yarta celebrates the opening of the 2022 festival, honouring ‘Spirit of Place’ and the launch of the Fringe’s Reconciliation Action Plan through a ceremony of story, told through dance. Upon the unceded sovereign lands of the Kaurna people, Tarntanyangga/Victoria Square hosts a spectacular of First Nations dancers from across South Australia.
