A Library for Wheelchairs? The Powerful Project You Need to See!

23 minutes

We’re ending season two with a celebration of community, creativity and the power of people helping people. First, we meet the family behind ‘The Sharing Shed’, an innovative new ‘equipment library’ ensuring people with spinal cord injuries can access vital mobility gear when they need it most. Then, we head outdoors to explore a striking new art exhibition from creators with lived experience of disability. Their work has taken over public spaces to form a barrier-free gallery, bold, accessible and impossible to ignore. Art that speaks to everyone. And to finish, we spread some festive cheer with the students of Darling Point Special School as they take centre stage for their annual Christmas Carols. Joyful voices, colourful performances and the magic of inclusion on full display.

We wrap up the show and the season with a look back at everything AbiliTV has achieved in 2025 and a promise to return in 2026 with even bigger stories, even bigger voices, and even bigger impact. It’s a finale that celebrates what makes this community remarkable; Compassion, creativity and the courage to create real change.
