The Melbourne Wrestling Show proudly presents what we are calling the Tag Team Frenzy special edition of the Melbourne Wrestling Show. This edition will contain nothing but the very best Tag Team contests that we have featured across our eight seasons. On this special Tag Team Frenzy edition of the Melbourne Wrestling Show:
– We return to Alpha Pro Wrestling’s WHIPLASH 2024 event to re-highlight CGS (The Main Character Will Walker & The Yung Goat Kobe Reid) becoming the second-ever Alpha Pro Tag Champs as they looked to try and take the gold away from the first-ever Alpha Pro Tag Champs, B-Squared (Big Diesel L-DEEZY & Big Unleaded PJ Redd) (Alpha Pro Wrestling Tag Team Championship, Alpha WHIPLASH 2024, Nov 9th 2024)
– We remain at Alpha for our second contest of our Tag Team Frenzy edition as we make a stop at their afternoon development event, Alpha Energy, specifically their 12th edition from early 2025 as we re-highlight a high-stakes intergender tag team match that saw the greatest 1980’s tag team of the 21st century, The Physicals (The Fantastic Jimmy Castle & Johnny “Thunderbolt” Jetts) try to keep the fan-favourite tag team LockHope (The Artist Formally Known As Lockie & It’s Ya Gurl Eleaine Hope) from gaining access into the 20 minute Tag Team Iron Man Alpha Tag Team Championship match that was scheduled to take place later on that very same day at Alpha’s evening event, HUNTED. (If LockHope win, they will be added to the 20 minute Iron Man Alpha Tag Team Championship match at HUNTED, Alpha Energy 12, Jan 18th 2025)
– And in our main event for the week and of our very special Tag Team Frenzy edition of the Melbourne Wrestling Show, we go back to Alpha’s January evening event, HUNTED, as we re-highlight a very special mystery partner intergender tag team match that saw The Mercenary Slade Mercer team up with his mystery partner, The Grumpy Uncle Of The Crowe Family, The Boss Johnny Della Rocco to take on Mercer’s heated rival (at the time), The Certified Bad Bitch Miss Fortune, who teamed up with her mystery partner, then-Alpha Pro Pipeworks Market Champion The Iron Lion Happy Kai (Intergender Tag Team match, Alpha Pro Wrestling HUNTED, Jan 18th 2025)
