28 minutes

This Exclusive episode of Classic Restos is Part 2, where 100 years of Route 66 is being featured. Starting the second leg of the journey in Springfield, we cross further into Illinois to walk the historic red brick road section in Auburn. Next, see the famous Turkey Tracks preserved in the old concrete in a first alignment of Route 66.

You then get up close and personal with the “senior citizen of the Mother Road” featuring the legendary Ariston Cafe in Litchfield. After that, we cross the Mississippi River via the historic Chain of Rocks Bridge with its famous 22-degree kink, then earning a sweet treat at Ted Drewes Frozen Custard in St. Louis.

The epic journey continues deep into Missouri, rounding off this episode in Springfield at the College Street Cafe to explore the fascinating private car collection tucked away right behind it. This and more solidifies the deep historical ties of the Mother Road, including you in the journey, taking in 100 years along Route 66.
