We FINALLY stay in LONGREACH and we enjoy one of the BEST AUSSIE OUTBACK TOURS!
We’ve travelled through Longreach in Outback Queensland so many times over the last 5 years and have never stopped and stayed. This time we’re staying and playing to experience one of Longreach’s best experiences, the Silver Tails Sunset Rail, & Dinner and Show with Smithy’s Aussie Outback Tours.
We had a brilliant time riding the rails on the 2000 class heritage rail motor car, enjoyed drinks and canapés on board, and watched the outback sunset over the floodplains. Then we were off to the Outback Dinner and Show, enjoying a delicious 2 course meal cooked over the campfire, and wonderful entertainment by Drew Blundel.
A fantastic night and a definite highlight of our time in Longreach. Then it’s off to the Wellshot Pub in Ilfracombe where Jasper steps up and impresses everyone in the pub, scoring himself a free drink and a good boost of confidence!
