Matt Joe Gow is a musician and singer-songwriter who grew up in New Zealand. He is also the lead
singer and frontman of Australian alternative band The Dead Leaves. He released his debut solo album
The Messenger in 2009 through Liberation Music to critical acclaim. His follow up album Seven Years
was released in 2016 and nominated for a Victoria Music Award for Best Country Album. But his third solo
album titled Break Rattle And Roll won the award in 2018.
