Absolute Beach Front Camping & the Kakadu of North QLD

34 minutes

This week we set up camp on absolute beach frontage with our feet in the sand at beautiful Ellis Beach Camping. We spend the better part of a week enjoying the tropical holiday vibes, before making our way south to the sleepy little fishing village of Lucinda.

Home to the Largest Pier in South Hemisphere with a backdrop of spectacular Hinchinbrook Island just 4km off the coast, Lucinda was a great surprise! Then we spend a night as the only campers at the indigenous owned Mungalla Station, east of Ingham.

With an incredible history, spiritual connections and indigenous owned, this place was truly special and somewhere we are already longing to return to.
