Latoya Hoeg is a proud trans woman of colour, who has been living in Narrm, Melbourne for over 33 years. Latoya is an elder for the Samoan Fa’afafine Community, and an advocate for the LGBTQIA+ Pacifica people, especially for trans women.

Currently working as a Community Engagement Worker, and Community Health Educator, Latoya was the Secretary and an advisor for Pacifique X, a Pacifica LGBTIQA+ Community in Melbourne.

Latoya was recently honoured alongside Uncle Jack Charles, by Samuel Gaskin at his performance at Victoria Pride Street Festival 2023.
