As a creative whose career includes stage, screen, fashion, and live performance, Drew Elizabeth Johnstone began as a showgirl, before moving into film and a distinguished career in wigs, hair, and makeup, having worked with leading fashion magazines, supermodels, major advertising agencies, and celebrities.
Drew has designed and managed wigs, hair, and makeup for major Australian and international productions, with her artistry having supported icons including Dolly Parton, Patti LuPone, and Jennifer Holliday, not to mention countless cabaret and drag performers.
Alongside her creative achievements, Drew has appeared in advertising campaigns, contributed as Assistant Fashion Editor for The Woman’s Weekly, and continues to shape live performance through her role on the Commercial Musical Theatre judging panel for the Green Room Awards.
