Saara’s upbringing in Finland, enriched by a blend of European and American influences, helped shape their artistic vision, and finding a supportive arts community in Melbourne having relocated to Australia, Saara is creating films characterised by dark humour, thought-provoking themes, challenging societal norms, and exploring complex issues, while being dedicated to creating films that resonate with audiences.
