Cycling Through History: Exploring Burra, South Australia

25 minutes
Cycling, food, and history! We spent four amazing days in Burra, South Australia, exploring the town’s history and culture, which is famous for its Cornish pasties. The first two days were spent exploring, as the heat stopped us from cycling.

We walked around and learned about the town’s fascinating mining past. In the last two days, we had planned to go cycling, but a thunderstorm hit on one of those days. Instead, we visited the bakery to see how they make those delicious Cornish pasties. This first video covers our historical exploration in Burra, while the next video will show our time at the bakery, where we try the famous Cornish pasties, and finally go for a ride!
